Lefkas welcomes you with its amazing villages of various sizes all overlooking the the sea.

Some villages are lively tourist attractions and others are unspoilt and ready to be discovered and scattered between the sea and the spectacular woody mountains.
In the radius of 9 marine miles we find the fascinating island of Skorpios( owned by the Onassis family), Meganissi, Kalamos, Kastos, and Itaca too is close by.
Lefkas is a “magic’’ island that enchants you and changes you.
We live in simplicity and in a human dimension.

It is possible to really 'find oneself' in this natural environment and beauty.

Lefkada Lefkas Island, Walk in the Spring in the Southern Mediterranean

Springtime in Lefkada Lefkas The pleasantly warm Mediterranean climate and lush fragrant bright green vegetation, secluded sandy beaches and turquoise waters on the sea are the setting for a spring special holiday in the warm south. Hiking in the mountains of the island are an unique experience. The best time for hiking,are February,( when the almond trees in their pale pink flowers, dress all the sth island's slopes ), March, April and May when the vegetation is in its first bloom and the meadows are in full bloom, with countless species of orchids, poppies and many wildflowers. The mountain slopes in a natural setting are scattered in April of flowering Judas trees. The weather is often very mild, at noon more than 20 degrees.The perfect time for hiking.

I have studied Herbal Therapy in Munich and live in Greece since 1986, where I have been working in practice with herbs ever since.
Parallel to running a small herbal workshop in Alexandros, a village in the highlands of Lefkas (Lefkada), I have been offering herbal walks, seminars on herbal therapy and herbal products for many years.
Our area:
Apart from its spectacular coastline Lefkas has impressive mountains covered in luxuriant flora thus offering an ideal terrain for botanical walks and seminars.
Our approach:
According to Greek Mythology Gods and plants are closely related. Let yourself be guided by stories and sagas through the rich plant world of the island and feel their presence. During the walks you will have the opportunity of finding, recognizing and collecting healing herbs in their natural environment. Meanwhile, you will learn about their healing powers and their various uses.
